Boudoir portraits with Lisa

Monday was a great day.  My friend Lisa had volunteered to be my practice model for Boudoir portraits. She came over to the studio and we had some fun doing glamorous makeup and hair before her 2.5 hour photo shoot. She was a trooper and we created some awesome shots.

Lisa is a beautiful lady with the heart of a lion who was struck by a car last June. Her injuries were almost fatal, and she spent three weeks in intensive care, and she still does not have the use of her left arm. But through it all she retained her sense of humor, her strength and her determination that she was not going to let anything beat her.

Lisa is not afraid to let her scars be seen by everyone, to her they are a badge of honor, proving to the world that she can do anything she sets her mind to.  I admire my friend so very  much, and I was privileged to be able to spend the day with her.

These photos are straight out of the camera, with no editing at all. I believe they show a few aspects of her beauty. I hope you enjoy these selections from her session.
